Charity dinner, auction, raises money for scholarship in honor of Shelby Sudbrink


As a tribute to Shelby’s #12 athletic jersey, the award recipient will receive $1,212.12 per college academic term for up to eight terms, totaling approximately $9,700.
Sudbrink was a Templeton High School senior when she lost her life in an automobile accident. She was a senior at Templeton High School when she lost her life in an automobile accident on Jan. 6, 2017. She was an honor student, captain of the varsity girls’ basketball team, and a friend to all. The Shelby Sudbrink Memorial Scholarship Foundation was created to honor her legacy.

The foundation’s mission is to award one scholarship per year to a female senior athlete from Templeton High School who exemplifies the qualities of Shelby. As a tribute to Shelby’s #12 athletic jersey, the award recipient will receive $1,212.12 per college academic term for up to eight terms, totaling approximately $9,700. The first scholarship will be awarded May 2017 with the recipient introduced at our upcoming fundraising event.

To help honor Shelby, please join us on June 3rd at the American Legion Hall in Templeton for dinner, live and silent auctions, exciting raffle prizes, live music by local band “The Incrementals” and be a part of the first annual event to raise money for SSMSF. Raffles and auctions will feature amazing products, services, and experiences from local businesses such as Madonna Inn, Jason Pambrun, DDS and more. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at the Templeton Recreation Department or Upscale Resale in Templeton.
