Family of girl killed in Templeton Rd. crash collecting photos, memories of teen

The California Highway Patrol says Sudbrink died after the SUV she was driving crashed into a tree at a curve along Templeton Road, about a half-mile north of Highway 41. The cause of the crash remains under investigation; however, her family believes she had unbuckled her seat belt to remove her jacket and failed to navigate the curve in the road.

Shelby was a member of the Templeton High School Girl's Varsity Basketball Team. Her family is asking teammates, friends, fellow students, and teachers to share any photos, videos and memories of Shelby by sending them to esudbrink@gmail.com.

Her uncle will also be filming videos of those wishing to share their memories of Shelby in the Student Union Room at Templeton High from noon to 4:00 p.m. this coming Monday through Wednesday.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up in support of Shelby's family.
